Border Crossings.... Your Not Going To Like this, but......

There is no question that the US has a problem at it's borders. Although we have a big problem at our borders, no one seems to have a solution as to what to do about it. Texas did put big balls across a river with razor wire on it to stop people from crossing into their state but now people are complaining that people trying to cross the border are getting all cut up and even death's.

Balls with razor wire on them

I have the perfect solution, give them a month warning and post signs stating anyone trying the cross the border will be shot on site! Pretty harsh, huh? Well, how would you like strangers just walking into your home, would you care? Of course you would. That's why we can shoot a stranger if they enter our homes.

Same as for the borders, we don't know who's crossing our borders, could be murders, rapists, drug smugglers, people with unknown diseases, etc., etc.

Then there are the people who don't care who crosses our border, until... Texas started bussing people to New Your and other states, all of a sudden, the other states started complaining about it! Yea, they didn't like all these people being dumped into their state. How do you think Texas feels?

Being we don't know who is crossing our borders, it's a national security risk...

It seems pretty odd to me that if we have a major disaster of some kind, a lot of times they will give an order to shoot looters on site, yet they let illegals enter into our country and not really do much about it.

If you really want to stop border crossings you have to get tough about it. What do the ones crossing care? They know if they get caught, they will just be sent back. If they knew that if they tried crossing the border they will be shot, they might think twice about trying to cross into our country.

How to Read a Bad CD/DVD (maybe).

Ever have a CD/DVD that you couldn't copy data from? Fist off you might want to try a different player to see if you can copy files from it. If that don't work and your pretty sure you lost your files, there is one final solution you can try. If course I don't guarantee it will work, but if your going to end up maybe pitching it, why not give it a try?

I'll take Windex and spray a little on it then in a circular motion, wipe it off and give it a try. I found that this works and in some cases make the data transfer faster. If it still doesn't transfer the data, hold the CD/DVD in the palm of your hand and press hard on the CD/DVD that it actually bows, but don't break it! Then again go around the CD/DVD with the paper towel putting a lot of pressure on it. You'll probably notice some very fine scratches after your done which doesn't seem to effect it in any way.

I've done this on a number of CD/DVD's and transferred the data to the hard drive before burning a new disc. If you think the CD/DVD is now junk anyways, what do you have to lose, and you just might save the data that was on that CD/DVD. When using the paper towel on the CD/DVD, I go all around it in a circular motion about a half a dozen times or a little more.

Of course if the CD/DVD has a big ass deep scratch in it, chances are it is junk, but it still doesn't hurt to try......

Ok, What Is the "Real" Temperature?

Last night it got down to "0" (zero) deg. F., at least according to one thermometer. I have two thermometers sitting outside the window, one is digital, the is analog like above, but they both show different temps by about 10 deg., or more.
,
Not knowing which one was right, I put yet another thermometer beside the other two, another analog thermometer. It read the same as the other analog thermometer, yet if I check on the web, it shows the same temp as the digital thermometer.

As of right now, the digital thermometer is showing 10 deg. F., yet the two analog thermometers are both showing 21 deg. F. So, what is the correct temperature, 10 or 21 deg. F? Is it the two analog thermometers or the digital one that agrees with the temp on the web?

I could see a big difference if they were far apart from each other (maybe), but all there are only inches apart from each other.

First Snow!

Guess we lucked out being they were calling for 8-inches of snow, but we only got about 2.5 to 3 inches. At least it gave me a chance to use my new three stage snow blower to see how it worked. It seemed to work pretty good, just had to get used to all the controls.

I had a "track drive" snow blower years ago and I hated it! It did push into the deep snow really well with out slipping, but.... it it shut off for some reason like running out of gas or other problem, you couldn't "free wheel" it back to the house, you actually had to drag it backwards! I think I had the track drive for a year or two before I sold it and swore I'd never get another track drive.

The new snow blower has wheels but it's three stage snow blower. How do they get three stages? The first stage is the augers on the sides (in the front of the snow blower) which push the snow towards the center, the center auger (2ed stage?) which you see in the video cuts through deep snow and pushes it back to the 3rd stage where it gets blown out of the snow blower.

They say with the center auger it doesn't want to "ride up" on big snow or frozen snow like what you get at the end of your driveway when a snowplow goes through.

Circumstantial Evidence (sucks)

Circumstantial Evidence..... I don't think circumstantial evidence should be allowed in courts without any real evidence.

Did you know that 1 percent of the US prison population, approximately 20,000 people, are falsely convicted? That's a lot of wrongly convicted people sitting in prison, and I seen numbers even higher then that.

So how can circumstantial evidence be wrong?

Ok, let's say you work with a person and they invite you over to their house, first time you was there and in that area. About a month or two later that same person is having there car worked on and ask you if you could pick them up for work, you say ok.

So, you go to pick that person up for work and as you drive down the street looking for their house your not sure which house it was so your driving slowly. At some point you figured out you passed the house so you go around the block and go down the street again, this time you see it and pull over to the curb.

As you look at your watch you see it's getting really late, but you go p to the door and knock a few times but there is no answer. You wait a minute or two but now it's really getting late and you have to get to work, so you rush to your car, get in and kind of speed away.

Later on be it the same day or next day or two, someone goes to your co-workers house and knocks on the door and get's no answer either. That person either calls the cops or a relative to come over and they go in the house and find the person murdered!

When the police start to investigate they find out that a neighbor seen your car and know the make and model and maybe even the license plate number. They also seen you rushing to your car and speeding away.

As the investigation continues, they also find you finger prints and DNA in the house on cups, saucers, on the table, etc., etc.

Now who do you think is going to get blamed for this murder, "YOU"!

All the circumstantial evidence points to you as the murderer, the time, your car, your finger prints and your DNA. Another innocent person sitting in prison because of circumstantial evidence and no "real evidence".
