Wordpad

Wordpad

If you haven't noticed, Windows 11 doesn't have Wordpad, Microsoft decided to abandoned it with Windows 11. I don't use Wordpad much, but still have it just incase. Some, or a lot of people liked Wordpad, if your one of those people, good news, you can still have and use it.

All you need to do is make a folder on your drive and call it anything you want. The next thing you need to have and do is to have an older computer with Windows 10 or later OS. You then need to copy the three files below from the old computer (where Wordpad is located), then place those three files in the new folder on your Windows 11 computer. All you need to do then is to create a shortcut from the Wordpad folder you made (the Wordpad.exe file) to your desktop.

You should now have Wordpad working on your Windows 11 computer.

The only problem you may encounter is in the future being with Microsoft making all these changes and updates, there is no guarantee how long it may work, who knows, a few months or a few years.
