Getting Close To Christmas!

What is it, like only 15 more day's? I decided to post a few pics of the Christmas decorations I put even before Thanksgiving, but there was a reason for that. We had our Thanksgiving about a week or better before Thanksgiving day because it was the only time we could all get together.... you work, etc.

Putting Christmas lights up isn't so bad, the worst part is getting all the lights to work and or replacing burnt out bulbs. Why is that? When you put the lights away after Christmas they are all working, but when you get them out the next year, half of them don't work, what the hell??

HINT: Here's a little tid-bit of info for you. Have you ever bought replacement lights? You get like 10 bulbs in a pace for about 2-3 dollars. A better thing to do is but a string of 100 bulbs, for about the same price! Just be sure they are the same voltage say like 2.5 volts. It will tell you the voltage on the tag at the end of your string of lights, the plug end.

Your probably thinking.... then you have to remove the lights from the new string you bought and switch out the base for the bulb, more work. Doesn't really matter being you have to straighten out the wires on the new bulbs also being they are usually crossed.

Probably the worse thing about putting up Christmas lights is taking them down. Yes, I think they come down quicker then putting them up but, when you take them down it's the start of January and it usually pretty cold out. And if your really unlucky, everything is covered with snow, else your cords, etc., are frozen to the ground.

Anyways.... here are a few pics and a vid of the lights I put up, nothing great, but at least I made an effort.
