Mounted the Trailer Jack on The Gas-Powered Log Splitter.

Today I decided to try and mount the trailer jack on the wood splitter. I didn't even know if it would fit or work, but I was hoping it would. As it turned out, looks like everything will work out ok. I did have to remove a 12.5" tube from the tongue which was no big deal being all it did was hold a rolled-up instruction book and a spark plug wrench. If I go anywhere, I can just grab the tube and take it with me, otherwise it was in the way for the trailer jack.

As you can see in the picture the jack sits nicely in its place, and when swung down, it doesn't hit anything. Also in the picture, the jack is extended a ways which I did to mount the jack so it would stay in its place.

The only thing the jack will mostly be used for is to lift the tongue to set the post you see. It's pretty hard lifting all that weight by hand and trying to put a pin through the post. It will also be used for lowering on the ball on the truck, and it might be used a little for moving it around.
