I have a log splitter, two of them. The electric log splitter needs a new motor which should be delivered today, and I'm still waiting for the gas-powered log splitter to be put together. I wanted to put the gas-powered log splitter together myself, but it's just too heavy. It's only about a 2.5-hour job.
I still have about 4-5 big logs I need to cut up, but they are to big to cut and try to lift on the truck, so when I get the gas-powered log splitter, I tow it over to where they are at then cut and split them right there.
What kind of wood is this? Have no idea, and it doesn't really matter to me being I'm not using it to heat my home, this wood is for up at the fire pit, and we burn a lot of wood when we go there because I make big fires.
Also, the new shed is to be delivered today which is a 10x16 shed. It's going to used for storing Halloween and Christmas stuff as well as some other things. I post a few pictures of it when I get a chance.
